Hey folks!
I’m trying to crawl my small website for some basic SEO checks, but I don’t wanna spend $$$ on tools yet. Anyone got a solid free site crawler they swear by?
I’ve tried a couple, but some either limit pages or give sketchy data. Need something that’s actually reliable, even if it’s basic.
Bonus points if it’s easy to use—I’m not a tech wizard lol.

Hey! I've been using Screaming Frog's free version for ages—it’s legit.
It caps at 500 URLs, but for a small site, that’s plenty. Super easy to use, and the data’s reliable.
Only downside is the paid version’s way better, but if you’re just starting out, the free site crawler option is solid.

Try Sitebulb’s free trial—not totally free forever, but it’s 14 days of no limits. Super clean interface, and it’s way more intuitive than some of the clunky free site crawlers out there.
Worth a test run before committing to anything.

For a no-frills free site crawler, check out Netpeak Spider’s free plan.
It’s basic but gets the job done—crawls up to 100 pages, which might work for you. The UI’s a bit old-school, but if you just need quick SEO checks, it’s decent.
Avoid Xenu though, unless you enjoy pain. That thing’s ancient and glitchy af.

Yo, Scraper’s Chrome extension is lowkey underrated.
Not a full-blown free site crawler, but if you just need to scrape a few pages for links/SEO stuff, it’s stupid easy. Plus, it’s free and works right in your browser.
Not for huge sites, but for small checks? Perfect.

Tried Screaming Frog and it’s exactly what I needed. The 500 URL limit is fine for now, and it’s way cleaner than the other free site crawlers I tested.
Might check out Sitebulb’s trial next. Appreciate the heads-up on SEO Powersuite too—almost downloaded it 😅

If you’re okay with something a lil technical, try HTTrack.
It’s a free site crawler that downloads entire sites offline, which is overkill for SEO, but you can still use it to check links and structure.
Steep learning curve tho—watch a tutorial first.

Stay away from SEO Powersuite’s free version.
It’s *technically* a free site crawler, but the limits are brutal, and it feels like malware with all the pop-ups.
Stick with Screaming Frog or just cough up for a trial of something better.
