"SwitchyOmega still king or nah? Any good alternatives?"
Yo, so I've been using SwitchyOmega for ages, and it's been a lifesaver for proxy hopping. But lately, I'm wondering—is it still the GOAT?
Heard some folks say it's outdated or that Chrome updates break it sometimes. Also, the auto-switch feature can be flaky af.
Anyone found a solid alternative, or is SwitchyOmega still unbeatable? I tried a couple others, but nothing feels as smooth.
Or maybe I’m just missing some tweaks to make it work better? Hit me with your setups or fav replacements!

SwitchyOmega is still solid, but yeah, Chrome updates do mess with it sometimes. If you're looking for alternatives, check out FoxyProxy. It's simpler but gets the job done for basic proxy switching.
For more advanced stuff, Proxy SwitchySharp is a lighter version of SwitchyOmega, but it’s kinda old too. Honestly, if SwitchyOmega works for you, just stick with it and maybe backup your profiles regularly.
And yeah, the random profile amnesia is annoying af. No fix for that except exporting settings every now and then.

Bro, SwitchyOmega is OG but lowkey showing its age. I switched to Proxy Helper (Chrome extension) and it’s been smooth.
Not as many features, but it’s lightweight and doesn’t break every time Chrome updates. Plus, no profile amnesia (so far).
If you need auto-switch, though, you might be stuck with SwitchyOmega. Nothing else does it as well, even if it’s flaky.

Still kinda bummed nothing matches SwitchyOmega’s auto-switch, but I’ll deal.
Also, good call on backing up profiles. Learned that the hard way lol.
