"How do I get around a blocked website? Need help bypassing restrictions!"

Hey guys, so my school/workplace blocked a bunch of sites I need to access. 😤 Anyone know how do i get around a blocked website without getting in trouble?

I’ve heard stuff like VPNs or proxies, but idk which ones actually work. Also, some sites block those too lol.

Any tips? Free methods preferred but open to paid if they’re reliable.

Thx in advance!

Hey, not tryna do anything shady, just need to access a site that’s blocked in my region.

how do i get around a blocked website safely? Don’t wanna risk malware or getting busted lol.

Heard about DNS changes or mirror sites—do those actually work? Or should I just stick with a trusted VPN?

Thanks for any advice! 🙏

Yo, VPNs are the easiest way if you're wondering how do i get around a blocked website. I use ProtonVPN’s free tier—it’s slow but works for basic stuff.

If your school/work blocks VPNs, try a proxy site like Hide.me or CroxyProxy. They’re hit or miss though.

Tor is overkill unless you’re super paranoid, but it does bypass most blocks. Just be ready for snail-speed browsing lol.

DNS changes can work! Google "how to change DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8" for guides. Sometimes that’s enough to unblock sites without VPNs.

But if the block is deep, you’ll need a VPN. Windscribe’s free plan gives 10GB/month—solid for light use.

Mirror sites are risky af tho, wouldn’t recommend unless you know it’s legit.

Bro just use Tor Browser. It’s free, and schools rarely block it because it looks like normal traffic.

Downside? Slow as hell and some sites block Tor exits. But for how do i get around a blocked website, it’s a nuclear option that works.

If you’re lazy, Cloudflare’s 1.1.1.1 app sometimes bypasses blocks too.

Honestly, paid VPNs are worth it if you need reliability. NordVPN and Surfshark have stealth modes that hide VPN traffic—great for strict networks.

For free stuff, Psiphon is underrated. It’s designed to bypass censorship and works when other VPNs fail.

But yeah, how do i get around a blocked website depends on how hard they’re blocking. Try a few methods and see what sticks.

Thanks for all the suggestions! Tried ProtonVPN and it worked for some sites, but my school’s IT must be onto it cause it got blocked after a day.

Gonna test Tor next—hopefully it’s not too slow. Anyone know if using Tor for normal browsing looks suspicious?

Also, that DNS trick with 1.1.1.1 didn’t work for me, but maybe I did it wrong. Appreciate the help though!

If you’re techy, set up your own proxy with a free AWS/Google Cloud instance. Sounds complicated but there are step-by-step tutorials online.

Otherwise, Opera browser has a built-in VPN that’s decent for quick access. Not super private but gets the job done.

how do i get around a blocked website without downloads? Try web proxies like KProxy—just paste the URL and go.

For region blocks, Smart DNS services like Unlocator work better than VPNs sometimes. They don’t slow your speed as much.

But if you’re dealing with school/work filters, a VPN with obfuscation (like VyprVPN) is key.

how do i get around a blocked website safely? Avoid random proxy sites—they’re full of ads and malware. Stick to known tools.
