"Has anyone tried Froxy Proxy? How reliable is it for browsing?"

Hey folks,

So I’ve been hearing a bit about froxy proxy lately and was curious if anyone here has actually used it? Like, does it hold up for everyday browsing or does it crap out halfway through?

I’m mostly looking for something stable—no crazy drops or slowdowns. Also, how’s the setup? Pain in the butt or pretty straightforward?

And yeah, if you’ve used it for streaming or bypassing geo-blocks, does froxy proxy actually work for that? Or is it hit or miss?

Would love to hear real experiences before I dive in. Thanks in advance!

*PS: If you’ve got alternatives that are better, I’m all ears too. Just keep it honest!*

I’ve used froxy proxy for a few months now, and it’s been pretty solid for basic browsing. No major drops, but I did notice some slowdowns during peak hours.

Setup was easy—just paste the server details and you’re good to go. For streaming, it’s hit or miss. Worked fine for Netflix UK but struggled with Hulu.

If you want something more consistent, try NordVPN. It’s pricier but way more reliable for geo-blocks.

Froxy proxy? Meh. It’s okay for casual stuff, but don’t expect miracles. I tried it for bypassing geo-restrictions, and it failed more than it worked.

The speed was decent, but the IPs get blocked pretty often. If you’re serious about streaming, go with ExpressVPN or SmartDNS. Way better options out there.

Yo, froxy proxy is alright if you’re just trying to hide your IP for basic browsing. But for streaming? Nah, not worth it.

I had to switch servers constantly to get it working, and even then, buffering was a pain. Setup was easy tho, so points for that.

If you’re looking for alternatives, Windscribe has a free tier that’s surprisingly good.

Froxy proxy is decent for the price, but it’s not the fastest. I used it for a week, and while it didn’t drop, the speeds were inconsistent.

For geo-blocks, it worked about 50% of the time. Not great if you need reliability.

If you’re open to alternatives, ProtonVPN is solid and has a free plan. Worth checking out.

Thanks for all the replies, guys! Sounds like froxy proxy is a mixed bag—good for basics but not great for streaming.

I might give NordVPN a shot since a few of you recommended it. Anyone know if their speeds are decent for gaming too? Or should I stick with something else for that?

Appreciate the honesty! Saved me from wasting time on a dud.

Honestly, froxy proxy is hit or miss. Some days it’s flawless, other days it’s unusable.

I tried it for streaming BBC iPlayer, and it worked once out of five tries. Setup was simple, but the inconsistency killed it for me.

If you want something better, Surfshark is affordable and works way more consistently.

Froxy proxy is fine for light browsing, but don’t expect it to handle heavy streaming or gaming.

I used it to access a few blocked sites, and it did the job, but the speeds weren’t amazing. Setup was a breeze, though.

For a more reliable option, check out Private Internet Access. It’s been my go-to for years.
