hey guys, so i’ve been outta the torrent game for a while but need to grab some stuff. is pirate bay 2024 still the move or has it gotten too sketchy?
heard mixed things about malware and takedowns... anyone got recent experience? also, are the mirrors even reliable these days or just full of fake links?
if it’s not safe anymore, what’s the next best thing? kinda miss the old days when it was simpler lol.

Pirate Bay 2024 is still around, but yeah, it’s gotten riskier. Lots of fake mirrors and malware traps.
If you’re gonna use it, stick to the official proxies (check their subreddit for updates) and always scan files with VirusTotal.
Better alternatives? Try 1337x or RARBG mirrors. Way less sketchy.

i switched to qBittorrent + a good VPN and never looked back.
