Looking for the best free proxy top options – any recommendations? or What are the most reliable free - SafeRoute7 - 18-07-2024

Title: Looking for the best free proxy top options – any recommendations?

Hey everyone!

I’ve been digging around for a solid free proxy top lately, but man, it’s tough to find one that’s both fast *and* reliable. A lot of them either throttle speeds or just stop working after a day or two.

Anyone got recs for a decent free proxy top that doesn’t suck? Preferably one with decent privacy too—not trying to get my data sold lol.

I’ve tried a few like Hide.me and ProxySite, but curious if there’s something better out there.

Thanks in advance!

Yo, I feel your pain with free proxy top options being hit or miss.

I’ve had decent luck with KProxy—it’s not lightning-fast, but it’s stable and doesn’t drop every 5 mins.

Also, VPNBook has a free proxy list that’s worth checking out. Just don’t expect Netflix unblocking or anything fancy. Privacy-wise, it’s okay, but I’d still avoid logging into sensitive stuff.

If you’re after a free proxy top that’s somewhat reliable, try ProxyNova.

They update their proxy lists regularly, so you’re less likely to hit dead servers. Speed varies, but I’ve found a few gems in their lists.

Downside? You gotta sift through ’em, but it’s free, so can’t complain too much.

Honestly, most free proxy top services are trash for long-term use.

But HideMyAss (the free version) is decent for quick browsing. Just don’t rely on it for heavy stuff.

Also, Whoer.net has a web proxy that’s simple and doesn’t bombard you with ads. Worth a shot!

I’ve been down this rabbit hole too. FreeProxy (the site) has a decent rotating list, but yeah, speeds are hit or miss.

Pro tip: Use Proxy Checker tools to filter out the dead ones. Saves a ton of time.

Privacy? Eh, assume nothing’s 100% safe with free options.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions!

I tried CroxyProxy and FilterBypass based on your recs, and they’re way better than what I was using.

Still kinda slow, but at least they don’t die after 10 mins.

Anyone know if any of these work with streaming? Or am I asking too much from a free proxy top? Lol.

Lol, free proxy top and "reliable" in the same sentence? Good luck.

Jokes aside, 4everproxy is okay for light use. Doesn’t log (they claim), and speeds are tolerable.

But if you need consistency, might wanna consider a cheap paid VPN instead.

Try FilterBypass. It’s a web-based free proxy top that’s surprisingly fast.

No install needed, and it’s got SSL, so slightly better privacy than some others.

Downside? Can’t change locations, but for quick access, it’s solid.

Man, I gave up on free proxy top options and just use Tor now.

Slower? Yeah. But way more private.

If you’re set on proxies, ProxyScrape updates fresh lists daily. Still a gamble though.

Hola VPN has a free proxy top option, but… sketchy rep.

Works fine for browsing, but I wouldn’t trust it with my data.

For something safer, Psiphon is decent and open-source.
