Has anyone gotten a device ban on Instagram or Reddit? How did you fix it? or Device ban on Instagram - fastEscape77 - 04-11-2024

Title: *"Device ban instagram reddit – anyone else deal with this? How’d you fix it?"*

Hey y’all,

So I got hit with a *device ban instagram reddit* situation (ugh). Insta straight up won’t let me make new accounts, and Reddit’s being weird too. Tried factory reset, VPNs, even a new SIM… nada.

Anyone else run into this? How strict are these bans really?

- Did you appeal? Did it work?
- Any workarounds besides buying a whole new phone?
- Are they tracking IMEI or just IP/device ID?

Kinda desperate here lol. Appreciate any tips!

*(Also, mods, lmk if this is the wrong place to post – first time here!)*

Yo, same boat here. device ban instagram reddit is brutal. I tried everything too—factory reset, VPN, even a new Google account. Nothing worked until I used a *spoofer* to change my device ID.

Check out "Device ID Changer" apps (root needed tho). Also, some ppl say Instagram tracks IMEI, so maybe try an old phone if you have one?

Good luck, man. This stuff is annoying af.

Ugh, I feel you. Instagram’s device ban is no joke.

From what I’ve seen, they track a mix of things—IP, device ID, *and* IMEI. A VPN alone won’t cut it.

Try using a *clean* device (like a cheap burner phone) with mobile data (not WiFi). Some folks on Reddit say that works.

Also, appeal if you haven’t—sometimes they lift it after a few weeks.

Bro, been there. device ban instagram reddit is a nightmare.

Here’s what worked for me:
- New phone (yeah, sucks)
- Fresh Google Play account
- Mobile data only, no WiFi

Some say you can spoof IMEI, but that’s risky and might brick your phone.

If you’re desperate, check out forums like XDA Developers for deeper hacks.

Hey! So I got hit with the device ban instagram reddit thing too.

Turns out, Instagram *does* track IMEI. I used a friend’s phone to make a new account, then logged in on my laptop. So far, so good.

Maybe try that? Avoid using your phone for a bit.

Also, Reddit’s bans are less strict—just clear app data and use a VPN.

Dude, same. device ban instagram reddit is wild.

I heard some ppl have luck with *Sandbox apps* like Parallel Space. It kinda hides your device ID. Not sure if it’ll work long-term, but worth a shot?

Also, Instagram’s appeals are useless. They just send automated replies.

OP here.

Wow, thanks for all the replies! Didn’t expect so many tips.

Update: Tried the *Parallel Space* thing—didn’t work for me, but I’ll borrow a friend’s phone next.

Quick Q: Anyone know if Instagram bans *just* the device or the Apple ID/Google account too? Trying to avoid messing up my main stuff.

Also, big thanks for the XDA Developers tip—gonna dig into that.

Y’all are lifesavers!

Okay, so I dealt with this last month. device ban instagram reddit is *super* frustrating.

What finally worked:
- New SIM (you already tried that, tho)
- *Different* device (borrowed my sister’s tablet)
- Used a VPN *before* creating the account

Reddit was easier—just cleared cache and used a new email.

Ugh, Instagram’s device ban is the worst.

From what I’ve read, they *do* track IMEI. So a factory reset won’t help.

Try using a PC or tablet to make the account first, *then* log in on your phone. Some ppl say that bypasses it.

Also, check out r/Instagram on Reddit—lots of tips there.

Hey! So I had the same issue with device ban instagram reddit.

Here’s the weird thing: I used a *different* Google account *and* Apple ID (if you’re on iPhone), and it worked. Maybe they track that too?

Also, avoid using the same phone number for verification.
