Hey! I’ve been using the Rustlings course (https://github.com/rust-lang/rustlings) and it’s been a game-changer for me.
It’s super beginner-friendly and hands-on, which helps a ton with retention. Plus, it’s free!
For a more structured 2024 rust guide, the official Rust book (https://doc.rust-lang.org/book/) is still gold—just got updated recently too.

If you’re looking for a 2024 rust guide that’s modern and beginner-friendly, try “The Rust Programming Language” by Steve Klabnik and Carol Nichols.
It’s the official book, but it’s been refreshed for recent editions.
Free online, or you can buy a hard copy.
Also, the Rust playground (https://play.rust-lang.org/) is clutch for testing snippets without setting up a whole project.

Honestly, just stick with the official docs and Rust by Example.
A lot of the “new” 2024 rust guides are just rehashes of those.
But if you want something different, “Programming Rust” by O’Reilly is solid—though it’s a bit dense for total beginners.
Pro tip: Don’t skip the exercises in Rustlings. They’re annoying but so worth it.

The 2024 rust guide I’ve found most helpful is “Easy Rust” by Dhghomon (https://github.com/Dhghomon/easy_rust).
It’s written in super simple English and avoids all the jargon.
Also, the Rust subreddit has a ton of threads with recs—just search “2024 rust guide” there.

But if you’re like me and learn by doing, try Exercism’s Rust track (https://exercism.org/tracks/rust).
It’s got mentored exercises, which is awesome for getting feedback.
Paid option: “Rust in Action” is great if you wanna dive into systems programming.
