Ugh, this error is driving me *nuts*. Every time I open Instagram, it’s just "instagram failed to load reset" and then... nothing. Refreshing doesn’t help, restarting the app either.
Tried clearing cache, reinstalling, even restarting my phone. Nada.
Is it just me or is this happening to others too? Feels like Insta’s servers are having a meltdown or something.
If you’ve found a fix, *please* share. I’m missing my doomscrolling 😩

Alright, so this "instagram failed to load reset" crap keeps popping up and I’m *over it*.
Things I’ve tried:
- Switched to mobile data (no luck)
- Logged out & back in (still broken)
- Updated the app (lol nope)
Anyone got a *real* fix? Or is Insta just broken rn?
Seriously, how hard is it to load some pics?? 🙄

Same here! Been stuck with the instagram failed to load reset error for *hours*.
Tried everything—WiFi, data, VPN, even a different phone. No luck.
Found a thread on Downdetector showing a spike in reports, so it’s probably on Insta’s end. Just gotta wait it out, I guess.

But hey, I fixed it (for now?) by switching to an older app version. Downloaded v289.0 from APKMirror and it’s working??

Weird fix but: go to Settings > Apps > Instagram > Storage > Clear Data (not just cache). Then log back in. Worked for my Pixel 6.

Insta’s status page says "all systems operational" but lol sure.
Try turning off RAM Boost if you’re on Android. Helped a friend.

My temp fix: use the mobile site (instagram.com) in Chrome. It’s clunky but at least it *works*.

lol Insta really said "nope" to us today.
instagram failed to load reset fix (for some): disable any ad blockers or DNS filters.
My Pi-hole was blocking something critical apparently.
