ugh, so sick of hitting an ip block every time i try to access a site. like, what did i even do??
i’m not even scraping or anything shady, just trying to browse. vpn works sometimes, but then it’s slow af. anyone found a better fix?
also, why do some sites go nuclear with ip blocks? feels like they’re just punishing normal users.
if you’ve dealt with this, drop your tips. rotating proxies? changing dns? or just praying to the internet gods?
(and no, "just wait it out" isn’t a solution – i’m impatient lol.)

Yeah, ip blocks are the worst lately. I had the same issue until I switched to Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DNS.
Some sites freak out over shared IPs (looking at you, AWS). Try a different DNS or a lightweight proxy like Luminati.
Also, clear your cookies—sometimes it’s not even the ip block but some weird tracking flag.

my fix? residential proxies. they’re pricy but way less likely to get blocked than VPNs. check out Smartproxy or Oxylabs.

Honestly, ip blocks are out of control. I’ve had luck with Windscribe’s VPN—they have a "stealth" mode that bypasses some blocks.
Also, check if your ISP is giving you a dynamic IP. Restarting your router *might* get you a new one.

ip block struggles are real. i’ve been using a combo of NordVPN (obfuscated servers) and changing my DNS to Google’s 8.8.8.8.
weirdly, some sites block VPNs but not mobile hotspots. try tethering if you’re desperate.
also, incognito mode sometimes helps? idk why but worth a shot.

yo thanks for all the tips! tried the DNS switch to 1.1.1.1 and it actually worked for one site.
still getting ip blocks on others tho. gonna test out those residential proxies next.
anyone know if using a VM with a diff IP helps? or is that overkill?

ip blocks are so annoying. i’ve been using a free proxy list like HideMyAss, but it’s hit or miss.
if you’re on Windows, try flushing your DNS (ipconfig /flushdns). sounds dumb but it’s saved me a few times.
sites need to chill with the blocks tho.
