Hey folks!
So I’ve been digging around for a *free website crawler* that doesn’t suck—y’know, one that actually works without hitting me with hidden limits or crashing every 5 mins.
Tried a couple already, but either the data’s incomplete or the UI feels like it’s from 2005.
Anyone got a solid rec? Preferably something that’s decent for SEO analysis too.
(And pls don’t say “just use Screaming Frog’s free version”… 500 URLs ain’t gonna cut it for me lol.)

Hey! I feel your pain with those outdated free website crawlers.
Have you tried Sitebulb's free trial? It’s not 100% free forever, but the trial is generous and way better than most free tools.
For a totally free option, check out Scraper API—it’s got a decent free tier for small projects. Not perfect, but way better than some of the junk out there.

lol yeah, Screaming Frog’s limit is brutal.
If you’re okay with a bit of a learning curve, HTTrack is a solid free website crawler. It’s old-school but gets the job done.
For SEO stuff, Netpeak Spider has a free version with way more URLs than Screaming Frog. Worth a look!

Ugh, the struggle is real. Most free website crawlers either cap you or are super clunky.
ParseHub is kinda cool—free for small projects and way more modern than most.
Also, Octoparse has a free tier if you’re scraping lighter sites. Not perfect, but hey, it’s free!

Dude, I was in the same boat last week.
Scrapy is free and powerful, but you gotta be comfy with coding. If you’re not into that, ContentKing has a free trial that’s pretty sweet for SEO.
Just avoid those “free” tools that sneak in paywalls—so annoying.

Honestly, most free website crawlers are trash.
But Screaming Frog (I know, I know) has a hack—you can clear the cache and restart to get around the 500 URL limit. Not ideal, but it works in a pinch.
Otherwise, DeepCrawl has a free trial if you need something more robust.

Yo! For a totally free website crawler, WebSite Auditor is underrated.
It’s got a free version with no hard URL cap, and the SEO tools are decent. UI isn’t *amazing*, but it’s better than some of the relics out there.

Man, I feel you. Free tools are either broken or useless.
Visualping isn’t a full crawler, but it’s free and great for tracking changes on sites.
For actual crawling, Helium Scraper has a free version that’s surprisingly good. A bit niche, but maybe it’ll work for you.

Been there! Most free website crawlers either crash or limit you to useless levels.
DataMiner is free for basic use and pretty reliable.
If you’re doing SEO, SEO Powersuite’s free tools are clunky but get the job done. Not glamorous, but hey, it’s free.

Quick Q—anyone know if Scrapy plays nice with WordPress sites? I’m tempted to give it a shot but don’t wanna waste time if it’s gonna choke on dynamic content.
