How to Get Reddit Help for a Banned Permanent Account? Any Success Stories? or Reddit Help Banned Per - webSurferX - 15-11-2024

Title: *Reddit help banned permanent account – any way to appeal or recover it?*

Hey everyone,

So my main account got hit with a *permanent* ban outta nowhere. No warning, no explanation – just *poof*, gone.

I’ve tried submitting appeals through reddit help (banned permanent account), but it’s like shouting into the void. Radio silence.

Has *anyone* here actually gotten their account back after a permaban? Like, what worked? Did you spam appeals, wait it out, or just give up?

Also, is there a *better* way to contact reddit help for banned permanent accounts? The standard form feels useless.

Kinda desperate here – had years of posts/comments on that account. Any success stories or tips would be *huge*.

Thanks in advance!

(Also, sorry for any typos – typing this on mobile and lowkey stressed lol.)

Damn, that sucks. Same thing happened to me last year.

I spammed the reddit help banned permanent account form like 5 times before I got a response.

Try tweeting @reddit or @reddithelp too – sometimes public shaming works lol.

Also, check if you violated any rules accidentally. My ban was for "ban evasion" even tho I didn’t do it.

Good luck!

Ugh, Reddit’s appeal system is *trash*.

I got my account back after 3 weeks of waiting.

Key thing: Be SUPER polite in your appeals. No anger, just facts.

Also, try this site: https://www.reddithelp.com – it’s unofficial but has templates for appeals.

Hope you get it sorted!

Bro, same.

My permaban was for "spam" when I just posted too much in one day.

The reddit help banned permanent account form is useless unless you keep trying.

I sent one appeal every 2 days for a month.

Finally got a human reply and they reduced it to a 7-day suspension.

Don’t give up!

Yeah, Reddit’s mods are wild sometimes.

If the ban was from a subreddit, message the mods directly.

If it’s site-wide, you’re kinda stuck with the reddit help banned permanent account form.

Pro tip: Use a different email for appeals. Some say it helps.

Honestly? Just make a new account.

Unless you *really* need the old one, it’s not worth the stress.

Reddit’s support is notoriously slow for reddit help banned permanent account issues.

I gave up after 2 months of silence.

Update: I tried the tweet thing and got an automated reply.

Still no real help from reddit help banned permanent account appeals tho.

Anyone know if Reddit has a phone number or live chat?

Also, thanks for all the advice – gonna keep spamming appeals I guess.

Appreciate y’all!

Hey, I got mine back!

Took 4 appeals and a tweet to @reddit.

Be detailed in your appeal – mention how long you’ve been on Reddit, any awards, etc.

The reddit help banned permanent account team seems to prioritize older accounts.

Fingers crossed for you!

Lol Reddit bans are so random.

My friend got banned for "harassment" for quoting a movie.

He used the reddit help banned permanent account form and got unbanned in a week.

Key was quoting the exact rule he supposedly broke and proving it was a mistake.

Maybe try that?

Permabans are rough.

If you’ve got no luck with reddit help banned permanent account appeals, try r/ShadowBan.

They’ve got guides on how to escalate stuff.

Also, Reddit’s CEO sometimes responds to DMs on Twitter. Worth a shot?
