So I had this VPN installed forever ago, and now I can’t even find the settings to remove it. Tried googling "delete vpn iphone" (lol typo) but still stuck.
It’s like the profile is ghosting me or something. Anyone else deal with this?
Also, why does it keep reconnecting after I *think* I deleted it? Apple, pls fix.
Help a frustrated human out—what’s the *actual* way to nuke this thing for good? 😤

Ugh, I feel your pain! Had the same issue last month. Turns out some VPNs leave hidden profiles.
Go to Settings > General > Profiles (or Profiles & Device Management). If you see the VPN there, delete it.
If not, try resetting network settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings).

Lol @ "Apple, pls fix." They won’t, so here’s the fix:
Some VPNs bury themselves deep. Try this:
- Open Settings > General > About.
- Scroll down to VPN—if it’s listed, tap it and see if there’s a "Remove" option.
If not, backup and restore your phone. Nuclear option, but it works.
(Also, next time, use a VPN with a proper uninstaller. Smh.)

Had this exact issue! The VPN profile was hiding in Settings > General > Profiles (not VPN & Device Management).
If you don’t see "Profiles," it might not exist for your VPN. Try:
- Deleting the app.
- Restarting your phone.

Turns out the VPN profile was hiding in Settings > General > Profiles (why is this so hard??). Deleted it and it’s finally gone.
But now my Wi-Fi is acting weird—did resetting network settings mess it up?
Also, why don’t VPNs just… uninstall properly? Smh.
