Are Mobile Proxies Really the Best Choice for Sneaker Copping and Social Media Management? or How Rel - proxyStormX - 02-11-2024

"Are Mobile Proxies Really the Best Choice for Sneaker Copping and Social Media Management?"

Hey guys, been testing mobile proxies for a while now, and I gotta ask—are they *actually* the best for sneaker bots and managing multiple social accounts?

I’ve heard they’re harder to detect since they mimic real mobile IPs, but are they worth the extra cost compared to residential or datacenter proxies?

Also, anyone else notice throttling issues when running too many tasks? Or is it just me?

Kinda torn bc they’re great for avoiding bans, but not sure if they’re overkill for some uses. What’s your experience?

*Side note: if you’ve got tips for not getting blacklisted, pls share. Still figuring this out lol.*

Mobile proxies are definitely the move for sneaker copping, especially with how strict sites like SNKRS and Shopify have gotten. They rotate IPs like real users, so you’re way less likely to get flagged.

That said, they’re pricey. If you’re just starting out, maybe try a mix of residential and mobile proxies to save cash.

For throttling, yeah, it happens. Try spacing out your tasks or using a tool like Oxylabs’ mobile proxy pool—they handle load balancing pretty well.

imo mobile proxies are overkill for social media unless you’re running 100+ accounts. For sneakers tho? 100% worth it.

I’ve used Blazing SEO’s mobile proxies and had way fewer bans compared to datacenter. Just don’t go crazy with the requests—sites still notice if you’re spamming.

Throttling’s a common issue, bro. Mobile proxies are stealthy but not magic. If you’re running too many tasks, even the best proxies will slow down.

Try limiting concurrent connections or use a bot with built-in delay settings. Also, check out IPRoyal’s mobile proxies—they’ve got good speeds for the price.

Mobile proxies are elite for avoiding bans, but yeah, the cost adds up. If you’re serious about copping, they’re a must. For social media, though, you can get away with residential.

Pro tip: rotate your user agents too. Sites like Whoer.net let you check if your setup looks legit.

Not all mobile proxies are equal. Some providers recycle IPs too fast, which can get you blacklisted. Do your research—I’ve had good luck with Bright Data’s mobile proxies.

For sneaker bots, they’re clutch. For social media? Only if you’re scaling hard.

Throttling usually means your provider’s overloaded. Try splitting tasks across different mobile proxies or use a service like Luminati (now Bright Data) with better infrastructure.

And yeah, mobile proxies are pricey, but cheaper than taking Ls on drops lol.

If you’re getting throttled, check your bot settings. Some bots don’t play nice with mobile proxies out of the box.

Also, avoid free proxies—they’re trash. Stick with trusted providers like Smartproxy or GeoSurf for mobile IPs.

Mobile proxies are the gold standard for sneaker bots, but they’re not perfect. I’ve still gotten clipped on Yeezy drops even with them.

For social media, it depends on the platform. Instagram’s way stricter than Twitter, for example.

Yo, thanks for all the insights! Definitely gonna test out some of the providers mentioned—Bright Data and Oxylabs sound solid.

One follow-up: anyone have experience with mobile proxies on Footsites? Heard they’re brutal with bot detection lately.

Also, big shoutout for the throttling tips. Gonna tweak my bot settings and see if that helps. Appreciate it, y’all!
