"Hey guys, can someone explain what are the proxy settings and how they actually work?"
Like, I keep hearing about them but I’m lowkey confused. Are they just for hiding your IP or do they do more?
And why would I even need to mess with them? Like, is it only for privacy nerds or does it help with speed too?
Also, if I *do* wanna tweak them, how do I even find these settings? Windows, Mac, phone—where are they hiding?
Kinda feels like one of those things everyone assumes you know but no one really explains lol.
