So I’ve been testing a bunch of proxies lately, but half of them are dead or super slow. 😩 Need a solid *proxy checker* that’s free and actually works.
Tried a few tools, but some are sketchy or take forever to load. Anyone got a go-to *proxy checker* they trust?
Bonus points if it shows speed + location.

I’ve been using ProxyNova for a while now, and it’s been solid.
It’s free, checks speed + location, and doesn’t take forever to load.
Only downside is it doesn’t save results, so you gotta screenshot if you need ‘em later.

Shows ping, country, and whether the proxy is alive or not.

If you’re okay with a CLI tool, proxy-checker on GitHub is legit.
It’s free, open-source, and way faster than most web-based ones.
You gotta run it yourself though, so not the most user-friendly.
But if you’re techy, it’s a beast.

Honestly, most free proxy checkers are trash.
I switched to ProxyScrape’s checker and it’s been consistent.
Shows response time, uptime, and location.
Only gripe? Ads. But it’s free, so can’t complain too much.
