"Stuck with Proxy Settings – How Do You Turn Off a Proxy Server?"
Hey guys, I’m kinda stuck here. My internet’s acting weird, and I think it’s cuz of a proxy server. But how do you turn off a proxy server? I’ve tried googling, but the steps are all over the place.
On Windows, I went to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy, but there’s like 3 different options. Do I just toggle off "Use a proxy server" or is there more to it?
Also, what if it’s set by admin or some script? Ugh, this is frustrating.
If anyone’s dealt with this before, pls help a noob out. Quick steps would be awesome!
(Using Win 10 btw, but tips for other OS are cool too.)

Hey! I had the same issue last week. To turn off a proxy server on Windows 10, go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
Just toggle off "Use a proxy server" under Manual proxy setup. If it’s grayed out, it might be set by admin or a script. In that case, try running "netsh winhttp reset proxy" in Command Prompt as admin.

Bro, I feel you. Had this issue when my VPN went rogue.
To disable proxy server, just uncheck everything in the Proxy tab like you said. If it’s still weird, reboot after changing settings.
For admin stuff, you might need to dig into Registry (carefully!) or ask IT.
