How Can You Delete Your eBay Account? - hyperNomadX - 06-10-2024
Hey everyone!
I’m trying to figure out how can you delete your ebay account because I’ve been meaning to do this for a while. I know it can be a bit tricky, so I want to make sure I follow the right steps.
Do I need to cancel any active listings first, or can I just go straight to the account settings?
I’ve heard you have to go through a few prompts to confirm the deletion, but I’m not sure what to expect.
If anyone has gone through this process and can share how can you delete your ebay account smoothly, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks! 😊

One thing I noticed was that eBay does ask why you’re closing your account, but it’s just for feedback. It doesn’t affect the process.

If you’re just wanting to take a break, consider putting your account on hold instead, if that’s an option.

I was a bit worried about losing my purchase history, but they keep it in case you ever want to come back.

First, I made sure to cancel all my active listings. It seemed like the right step before moving forward with the deletion.
