Best Tools and Tips to Scrape Apartments Data: What Works in 2023? - AnonCircuitX - 23-11-2024

Yo, so I’ve been trying to scrape apartments data for a while now, and lemme tell ya, it’s a *mess* out there. Like, half the tools I tried either break after 2 seconds or cost an arm and a leg.

In 2023, tho, I’ve found a few gems. Scrapy is still solid if you’re into coding, but tbh, it’s a bit of a headache if you’re not techy. For no-code peeps, Octoparse is decent, but it’s kinda slow.

Also, pro tip: always check if the site you’re trying to scrape apartments from has an API. Saves so much time and effort. And don’t forget proxies—sites *hate* scraping and will block you fast.

What’s everyone else using? Any tools or tricks I’m missing? Pls share, cuz scraping apartments is lowkey driving me nuts lol.

Yo, I feel you on the struggle to scrape apartments data. It’s such a pain, especially when sites keep changing their layouts.

I’ve been using ParseHub lately, and it’s been a lifesaver for no-code scraping. It’s not perfect, but it’s way faster than Octoparse for me. Also, if you’re into coding, check out BeautifulSoup with Python—super lightweight and flexible.

Oh, and for proxies, I swear by Bright Data. A bit pricey, but their residential proxies are *chef’s kiss* for avoiding blocks.

Bro, scraping apartments is the worst. I’ve been using Scrapy for a while, but yeah, it’s not beginner-friendly.

Recently, I switched to Mozenda for no-code scraping, and it’s been a game-changer. A bit pricey, but it’s reliable and handles large datasets well.

Also, for proxies, I use Smartproxy. Cheap and gets the job done without too many hiccups.

Scraping apartments is such a headache, man. I’ve been using Import.io for a while now, and it’s been pretty reliable. It’s no-code and handles most sites without too much fuss.

For proxies, I’ve been using Oxylabs. It’s a bit

Scraping apartments data is a nightmare, right? I’ve been there.

If you’re looking for something super simple, try Apify. It’s got pre-built scrapers for a bunch of real estate sites, and you can tweak them if needed. Plus, their proxy management is solid.

Also, don’t sleep on Zillow’s API if you’re in the US. It’s not perfect, but it’s way better than trying to scrape their site directly.

Ugh, I feel your pain. Scraping apartments data is like trying to wrestle a bear sometimes.

I’ve had good luck with DataMiner for Chrome. It’s super easy to use and works well for smaller projects. For bigger stuff, I still stick with Scrapy, but I get why it’s not for everyone.

Also, don’t forget to rotate your user agents! Sites block you faster if they see the same one over and over.
