Hey everyone,
Sooo, I was playing last night and ran into this weird mega crack glitch. Like, outta nowhere, the screen just split into this massive crack effect, almost like the game was breaking apart. It was wild!

Has anyone else experienced this mega crack thing? I tried restarting, updating drivers, even reinstalled the game, but it keeps happening randomly. Not sure if it’s a bug or some kinda hidden feature (lol).

Also, does it happen more in certain areas or during specific actions? For me, it seems to trigger when I’m in crowded zones or during cutscenes.

Anyway, if y’all have any fixes or theories about the mega crack glitch, pls share! I’m lowkey obsessed with figuring this out now.

Cheers!
Yo, I had the same mega crack glitch last week! It’s super trippy, right? For me, it happened mostly in the city area when there were a ton of NPCs around.

I found a fix that worked for me—turning down the particle effects and shadows in the graphics settings. Apparently, the game struggles with rendering too much at once, and that’s what causes the mega crack effect.

Also, check out this forum thread on [GameFixer.com](http://gamefixer.com). They have a whole section on weird glitches like this. Hope it helps!
Haha, the mega crack thing sounds wild! I haven’t seen it myself, but my buddy mentioned it happening during cutscenes too.

He said it stopped after he updated his GPU drivers to the latest version. Maybe give that a shot if you haven’t already? Also, try verifying the game files through Steam or whatever launcher you’re using. Sometimes corrupted files can cause crazy stuff like this.

Let us know if it works!
Oh man, the mega crack glitch is such a vibe lol. I’ve seen it a few times, and it’s always during chaotic moments in the game.

I think it’s tied to the game’s engine overloading or something. Try lowering your resolution or playing in windowed mode. It’s not ideal, but it might stop the mega crack from showing up.

Also, there’s a tool called [DXDiag](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...8a8c6f8a1b) that can help check if your DirectX is up to date. Might be worth a look!
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about the mega crack glitch lately. It’s definitely not just you!

From what I’ve gathered, it seems to happen more often on older GPUs or when the game is running on higher settings than your system can handle. Try capping your FPS to 60 and see if that helps.

Also, there’s a mod on Nexus Mods that supposedly fixes some of the rendering issues causing the mega crack effect. Might be worth checking out!
The mega crack thing is so weird, right? I thought my monitor was breaking the first time I saw it lol.

For me, it stopped after I disabled all the overlays (like Discord and Steam). Apparently, they can interfere with the game’s rendering. Also, make sure your game is running in fullscreen mode, not borderless.

If that doesn’t work, try posting your specs on the game’s official forums. The devs might have a fix or at least acknowledge the issue.
Wow, thanks for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried turning down the particle effects and shadows like someone mentioned, and it actually helped a ton. The mega crack glitch hasn’t happened since!

I also updated my GPU drivers and cleared the game cache, so maybe that did the trick too. Still not sure why it happens, but at least it’s manageable now.

Quick question though—has anyone noticed if the mega crack glitch happens more with certain GPUs? I’m on an older card, so I’m wondering if that’s part of the issue.

Thanks again, y’all are the best!
I’ve had the mega crack glitch happen a few times, and it’s always during cutscenes or when there’s a lot of action on screen.

One thing that helped me was clearing the game’s cache. There’s a guide on [PCGamingWiki](https://www.pcgamingwiki.com) that shows you how to do it for different games. It’s super easy and might fix the issue.

Also, try running the game as an admin. Sometimes that can stop weird glitches like the mega crack from happening.
The mega crack glitch is so bizarre! I’ve only seen it once, but it was during a boss fight, and it totally ruined the moment lol.

I think it’s related to the game’s lighting engine. Try turning off dynamic lighting or lowering the brightness settings. It’s not a perfect fix, but it might reduce how often the mega crack shows up.

Also, keep an eye on the game’s patch notes. The devs might be working on a fix for this.
