Hey y’all,
Anyone else getting hit with a proxy error with network lately? It’s been driving me nuts for the past hour.

Tried restarting my router, clearing cache, and even reinstalled my browser, but no luck. Ugh.

If you’ve dealt with this before, pls share how you fixed it. Is it a server thing or something on my end?

Also, is it just me or does this proxy error with network thing happen more often on certain sites?

Thx in advance!

Hey! I had the same proxy error with network issue last week. Turns out it was my VPN causing the problem. If you're using one, try disabling it and see if that helps.

Also, check if your ISP is having issues. Sometimes it’s not on your end at all. I used downdetector.com to see if others were reporting similar problems.

Hope this helps!
ugh, proxy error with network is the worst. I fixed mine by changing my DNS settings to Google DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

It’s super easy to do and might help if the issue is DNS-related. Let me know if you need steps!
Yo, I’ve been dealing with this proxy error with network thing too. It’s super annoying, especially on sites like YouTube and Reddit.

I found that using a different browser sometimes works. Like, if you’re on Chrome, try Firefox or Edge. Also, check if any extensions are messing things up.

Good luck!
Hey! I had this proxy error with network issue a while back. It turned out to be a firewall setting on my router.

I logged into my router settings and disabled the firewall temporarily to test. Fixed it right away. Just make sure to turn it back on after!
Same here! Proxy error with network has been driving me crazy. I fixed it by flushing my DNS cache.

On Windows, open Command Prompt and type `ipconfig /flushdns`. On Mac, it’s `sudo dscacheutil -flushcache`.

Worked like a charm for me.
Thanks, everyone! I tried flushing my DNS cache and resetting my router, and it seems to be working now.

Still not sure why the proxy error with network keeps happening on certain sites, though. Anyone know if it’s something to do with how those sites handle traffic?

Also, I’ll check my antivirus settings just in case. Appreciate all the tips!
Not sure if this helps, but I had a proxy error with network issue that was caused by my antivirus software. It was blocking certain sites for some reason.

I added the sites to the exception list, and it worked fine after that. Maybe check your antivirus settings?
Hey, I’ve noticed the proxy error with network happens more often on sites with heavy traffic. Could be a server-side issue.

Try accessing the site during off-peak hours. If it works then, it’s probably not on your end.

Also, tools like Pingdom or GTmetrix can help diagnose network issues.
I had this proxy error with network problem too. Turns out my browser’s proxy settings were messed up.

Go to your browser settings and make sure “Use system proxy settings” is checked. If you’re on Windows, you can reset proxy settings via Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.

Hope that fixes it!
