Hey guys, been using CheckerProxy for a while to test free proxies, but lately I’m not sure if it’s as accurate as before.

Sometimes it marks proxies as "working" but they’re dead slow or just don’t connect. Anyone else noticing this?

Or am I just using it wrong? Maybe there’s a better way to run the tests?

Also, does CheckerProxy even update their lists regularly? Feels hit or miss these days.

Yeah, CheckerProxy has been kinda hit or miss for me too. Lately, I’ve noticed a lot of false positives where it says a proxy is live but it’s actually unusable.

I switched to ProxyScrape for testing—way more consistent. Also, try lowering the timeout in CheckerProxy to like 3 seconds. Filters out the super slow ones.
