"Having issues with your proxy server settings? Need help troubleshooting?"

Hey folks!

So my proxy server settings keep acting up—sometimes they just won’t connect, other times it’s crazy slow. Tried resetting everything, but no luck.

Anyone else run into this? Maybe a quick fix I’m missing?

Also, if you’ve got tips for better proxy server settings, hmu!

Thanks in advance!

"Why won’t my proxy server settings save properly? Any fixes?"

Ugh, this is driving me nuts.

Every time I update my proxy server settings, they just... don’t save? Like, I hit apply, close the window, and boom—back to default.

Tried admin mode, restarting, nada.

Anyone else deal with this? Pls help a frustrated soul out lol.

"How do I optimize my proxy server settings for better performance?"

Hey y’all!

My internet’s been laggy, and I’m pretty sure it’s the proxy server settings. They’re just... not optimized, I guess?

Any tweaks to speed things up? Like, best ports or configs?

Not super techy, so keep it simple if possible. Thx!
Hey! Had the same issue last week. Turns out my antivirus was blocking the proxy server settings from saving. Try disabling it temporarily to see if that helps.

Also, check if your system has write permissions for the config files. Sometimes that’s the culprit.

For tools, ProxyCap or Fiddler can help debug connection issues.

Hope that works!
Ugh, proxy server settings can be such a pain. If it’s not saving, maybe your OS is overriding them? Windows loves to reset network stuff on updates.

Try this:
- Open cmd as admin
- Run `netsh winhttp reset proxy`
- Restart

If that doesn’t fix it, maybe a registry tweak? But be careful with that.
Yo, for speed issues, try switching ports. Some ISPs throttle common proxy ports like 8080 or 3128.

Also, check if your proxy server settings are set to auto-detect. Sometimes that slows things down. Manual configs usually work better.

If you’re using a free proxy, ditch it. They’re almost always slow. Paid ones like Luminati or Smartproxy are way better.
Bro, same! My proxy server settings kept resetting until I found out it was a group policy thing. If you’re on a work/school network, admins might be locking it down.

Otherwise, try exporting your settings as a .pac file and importing them back. Weird fix, but it worked for me.
If your proxy server settings are acting up, try flushing your DNS cache. Open cmd and type `ipconfig /flushdns`. Sometimes old DNS records mess with the connection.

Also, test with a different proxy server to see if the issue is with your settings or the server itself.

For tools, Wireshark can help trace where the connection fails.
Hey! For optimization, try reducing the number of hops in your proxy chain. Each extra hop slows things down.

Also, enable compression in your proxy server settings if the server supports it. Can make a big difference for speed.

If you’re not techy, maybe try a VPN instead? Less fuss with settings.
Thanks for all the tips, guys! Tried the `netsh winhttp reset proxy` trick and it actually worked. No more resetting!

Still getting some lag though. Anyone know if using a SOCKS proxy instead of HTTP would help with speed?

Also, gonna check out ProxyCap—sounds handy. Appreciate the help!
