Looking for a reliable united states proxy server – any recommendations? or Why should I use a united

"Best united states proxy server options right now?"

Hey guys,

Looking for a solid united states proxy server that won’t crap out after 5 mins. Need it for streaming and maybe some light browsing, but everything I’ve tried so far is either slow or gets blocked too easy.

Any recs? Preferably something affordable but not sketchy lol.

Also, does anyone know if using a united states proxy server actually helps with speeds if you’re outside the US? Or is it just for geo-unblocking?

Thanks in advance!

"Why should I use a united states proxy server for better speeds?"

Yo,

Kinda confused—some folks say a united states proxy server can speed things up if you’re far from the US, but others say it’s only for bypassing restrictions.

Anyone got real experience with this? Like, does it actually reduce lag or just make it *look* like you’re in the US?

Also, if it *does* help, which providers are worth trying? Don’t wanna waste cash on junk.

Thx!

I've been using Smartproxy for a while now, and it’s been solid for streaming. Their united states proxy server options are pretty fast, and I haven’t had issues with geo-blocks.

For speeds outside the US, it depends on your location. If you’re closer to the US, it might help, but if you’re halfway across the world, don’t expect miracles. It’s more about unblocking content than boosting speed.

Price-wise, it’s mid-range but worth it if you need reliability.

Yo, if you’re just trying to stream, check out Luminati (now Bright Data). Their residential united states proxy server list is legit.

But yeah, it’s mostly for geo-unblocking. Speeds won’t magically improve unless the original server was throttling you based on location.

A bit pricey tho, so maybe try their free trial first.

Honestly, most cheap united states proxy server providers are trash. I wasted money on a few before settling on Oxylabs.

It’s not the cheapest, but it’s consistent. For streaming, you need residential IPs, and theirs rarely get blocked.

And nah, don’t expect speed boosts unless your ISP is trash. It’s all about bypassing restrictions.

Try Proxy-Seller if you want something affordable but decent. Their US proxies work fine for browsing and light streaming.

But like others said, a united states proxy server won’t make your connection faster if you’re far away. It just tricks sites into thinking you’re in the US.

If speed’s your issue, maybe look into a VPN with better routing.

I’ve had good luck with Storm Proxies. Their rotating united states proxy server options are great for avoiding blocks.

For streaming, though, you might need dedicated IPs. Shared ones can get flagged pretty quick.

And yeah, it’s not a speed hack—just a location spoof.

If you’re outside the US, a united states proxy server might *feel* faster if the site was throttling you based on region. But technically, it adds a hop, so latency can go up.

I use GeoSurf for Hulu and Netflix. Works well, but it’s not cheap.

Forget free proxies—they’re all garbage. I’d recommend Soax for a balance of price and performance. Their united states proxy server pool is huge, so less chance of getting blocked.

And no, it won’t speed up your connection unless the site was deliberately slowing you down.

Hey, just a heads-up—some streaming sites are cracking down on proxies. I’ve had better luck with VPNs like NordVPN’s dedicated IPs.

But if you’re set on a united states proxy server, check out Blazing SEO. Reliable and decent speeds, but again, it’s for unblocking, not speeding up.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! Gonna test out Smartproxy and Oxylabs first since reliability seems key.

Quick follow-up: anyone know if these united states proxy server providers work with ESPN+? Heard they’re extra strict with proxies.

Also, good point about VPNs—might try that if proxies don’t cut it. Appreciate the help!
