"Has Anyone Tested Pia Proxi for Streaming and Torrenting?"

Hey guys,

So I’ve been hearing a lot about pia proxi lately, especially for streaming and torrenting. But I’m kinda skeptical—does it actually work well for stuff like Netflix or downloading large files?

I’ve tried a few other proxies, and they either throttle speeds or get blocked super fast.

Anyone here actually used pia proxi for this? How’s the speed? Any buffering issues? And does it keep your activity low-key or nah?

Also, does it play nice with P2P or is it a hit-or-miss thing? Would love some real user experiences before I commit.

Thanks in advance!
I’ve been using pia proxi for a few months now, mostly for torrenting. Speeds are decent—not the fastest I’ve seen, but stable.

No buffering issues on streaming sites, but Netflix can be hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it detects the proxy.

For P2P, it’s solid. No leaks so far, and my ISP hasn’t sent any nasty letters. If you’re paranoid, pair it with qBittorrent’s built-in encryption.
Pia proxi is okay, but if you’re after blazing speeds, look elsewhere. It gets the job done for torrenting, but I’ve had better luck with NordVPN for streaming.

That said, it’s cheap and doesn’t log, which is a plus. Just don’t expect miracles with geo-unblocking.
Yo, pia proxi is my go-to for torrents. Zero throttling, and I’ve downloaded some massive files without a hitch.

Streaming? Eh, it’s alright. Works fine with Hulu, but Netflix is a pain. Might wanna check out Smart DNS services if that’s your main thing.
Used pia proxi for a week before switching. Torrenting was fine, but streaming was a nightmare—constant buffering.

If you’re serious about streaming, try ExpressVPN. Way more reliable for Netflix and the like. Pia proxi just didn’t cut it for me.
Pia proxi is decent for P2P, no complaints there. Speeds are consistent, and I haven’t had any leaks.

For streaming, though, it’s kinda meh. BBC iPlayer worked, but Disney+ blocked it right away. If streaming’s your priority, maybe pair it with a dedicated VPN.
Thanks for all the feedback, guys! Sounds like pia proxi is solid for torrenting but shaky for streaming.

I’ll probably give it a try for P2P and pair it with something else for Netflix. Anyone here tested it with Kodi? Wondering if it’s any better for that.

Also, appreciate the alternatives—ExpressVPN and NordVPN keep popping up, so I might check those out too. Cheers!
Honestly, pia proxi is hit or miss. Torrenting? Great. Streaming? Not so much.

I’d recommend checking out TorGuard if you want something more consistent for both. Pia proxi is budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for.
Pia proxi works well enough for torrenting—no speed drops or leaks. But for streaming, it’s unreliable.

If you’re after a one-size-fits-all solution, Surfshark might be a better bet. Pia proxi is good, but not perfect.
I’ve had pia proxi for a year now. Torrenting is smooth, and speeds are solid.

Streaming is a mixed bag. Sometimes it unblocks stuff, sometimes it doesn’t. If you’re flexible, it’s worth a shot. Otherwise, look into CyberGhost for streaming.
