Hey guys,
So I keep getting this "session expired" error on Facebook outta nowhere. Like, one minute I'm scrolling, next minute—boom—logged out.
Anyone else facing this? It’s super annoying, especially when I’m mid-convo.
Tried clearing cache, restarting my phone... even reinstalled the app. Still pops up.
Is it just me or is Facebook glitching again?

I read somewhere that it might be a cookie issue. Try logging in from a browser (not the app) and check "keep me logged in."
Also, maybe check if your phone’s date/time is set to auto. Weird fix, but it’s worked for me before.
If that doesn’t help, FB might just be having a moment lol.

I fixed it by turning off my VPN. Apparently, Facebook doesn’t like it when your IP jumps around.
If you’re not using one, maybe try logging out of all devices from FB settings? Sometimes old sessions mess things up.

Okay, so I had this exact issue last week. "Why is my facebook saying session expired" drove me nuts.
Turns out, it was a security thing. Facebook logged me out ‘cause it thought my account was compromised.
Go to Settings > Security and Login > See where you're logged in. Kick out anything suspicious.
Also, update the app if you haven’t. Glitchy updates are the worst.

But I checked downdetector, and seems like a bunch of people are having the same issue today. Guess it’s FB’s fault after all.

Had this problem last month!
For me, it was because I had too many tabs open with FB logged in. Closed a few, and poof—no more errors.
Also, make sure your password isn’t expired. Sounds weird, but FB does that sometimes.

Ugh, Facebook’s the worst with this.
"why is my facebook saying session expired" usually means their servers are glitching. Try waiting it out (annoying, I know).
Or, log in via incognito mode to see if it’s a cache thing. If it works there, def a cookie issue.
This happens when FB updates stuff on their end.
Try going to facebook.com/help and searching for "session expired." They’ve got a few fixes listed.
Also, if you’re using 2FA, make sure your auth app isn’t out of sync. That can cause random logouts.
