I’ve been testing out sendgrid bluesky smtp for transactional emails, and tbh, the results are kinda mixed. Some emails land fine, others get delayed or worse—straight to spam.
Anyone else using sendgrid bluesky smtp successfully? Or am I just missing a trick here?
Also, how does it stack up against stuff like Mailgun or AWS SES? Worth switching or just tweak the setup?

Switched to Postmark for transactional stuff and never looked back. Their deliverability is insane, but it’s pricier.

sendgrid bluesky smtp works fine for me, but I had to tweak the hell out of my DNS settings.
Double-check your reverse DNS and maybe use a subdomain for emails. Also, Mailjet is a decent alternative if you’re fed up.
Mixed results here too. Some clients get my emails instantly, others… crickets.
Found that splitting sends between sendgrid bluesky smtp and Mailgun helped. Not ideal, but eh.
Also, check your sender reputation with SenderScore. Might explain the spam issues.

sendgrid bluesky smtp is okay, but their docs are a mess. Took me forever to set up DMARC right.
If you’re banging your head against the wall, maybe try SparkPost? Similar features but way easier to configure.
Had the same prob with sendgrid bluesky smtp. Turns out my IP was blacklisted lol.
Used MXToolbox to check and had to request a new IP from support. Now it’s smooth sailing.
AWS SES is cheaper but good luck debugging when something goes wrong.
