Same here! mac chrome protical has been acting up for weeks.
I noticed it gets worse when I have too many tabs open. Maybe try limiting your tabs or using a tab suspender extension like The Great Suspender. It helps free up memory.
Also, check your internet connection. Sometimes it’s not Chrome but your Wi-Fi acting up.
