Hey! I just got back from Tsubame Onsen, and it was amazing. I stayed at Ryokan Kikunosato, and it was so peaceful. The private baths are a must if you want some quiet time.
For food, there’s a small sushi place called Sushidokoro Tsubame. It’s a bit off the beaten path, but the fish is super fresh.
If you’re into hiking, there’s a trail near the onsen that leads to a quiet hot spring. It’s a bit of a trek, but totally worth it.
