I’ve been playing OW2 since launch, and yeah, server locations for Overwatch 2 are crucial. I’m in Australia, and if I get matched on US servers, the lag is unbearable.
Blizzard doesn’t let you manually select servers, but you can kinda “trick” the system by using a VPN. It’s not ideal, but it can help if you’re stuck on a bad server.
Also, make sure your game is updated and your drivers are current. Sometimes high ping is caused by outdated software rather than the server itself.
