Thanks for all the replies, everyone! Super helpful stuff. I didn’t realize how much server locations for Overwatch 2 could affect ping until I started paying attention to it. I tried using a VPN like some of you suggested, and it actually helped a bit with the lag spikes.
I also checked out Blizzard’s support page and found their list of server locations for Overwatch 2. It’s good to know where they’re located so I can kinda guess where I’m being matched.
One follow-up question though—does anyone know if Blizzard plans to add more server locations for Overwatch 2 in the future? I feel like some regions are still kinda underserved.
