Hey! So, I’ve been using proxy chains for a while now, and honestly, it *does* make a difference for privacy, but it’s not a magic bullet. If you’re just trying to hide your IP from casual snoopers, a single proxy or VPN might be enough. But if you’re dealing with something more serious, like avoiding government-level tracking, then yeah, a proxy chain can help.
The slowdown is real though. Routing through multiple servers will always add latency. If speed is a priority, maybe stick to one or two proxies max.
