Lol, the 3 masks analogy is spot on! A proxy chain is definitely overkill for most people. Unless you’re doing something super sensitive, it’s probably not worth the hassle.
But if you’re curious, try it out with something like Tor over a proxy chain. It’s slow as hell, but it’s fun to tinker with. Just don’t expect Netflix to work smoothly, haha.
