Does Using a Proxy Chain Really Enhance Online Privacy and Security?

I’ve been down the proxy chain rabbit hole, and here’s my take: it’s useful, but only in specific scenarios. Like, if you’re trying to bypass geo-blocks or avoid ISP tracking, it’s overkill. But if you’re doing something where anonymity is critical, it’s worth it.

The slowdown is brutal, though. I’d suggest using a mix of proxies and VPNs to balance speed and privacy.

For tools, I like ProxyChain-NG. It’s lightweight and easy to configure.
