Is Using a Proxy Server for Payment Gateway the Best Way to Enhance Security and Reliability?

I’m kinda skeptical about the whole proxy server for payment gateway thing. Like, sure, it hides your IP, but does it really stop fraud? I feel like fraudsters are gonna find a way regardless. Maybe focus more on multi-factor authentication and real-time monitoring instead. Just my two cents.
