Can someone explain the HTTP proxy meaning and how it works in simple terms?

So, an HTTP proxy is basically a server that handles your web requests for you. It can hide your IP, sure, but it can also help you access blocked sites or improve security. If you’re worried about speed, just pick a proxy server close to your location. Tools like Smartproxy are pretty user-friendly.
