I feel you on the spam thing. Proxy emails are great, but they’re not magic. I’ve been using Firefox Relay, and it’s been decent. It’s free for a few aliases, and you can just trash them if they get too spammy.
For data breaches, it’s a lifesaver since your real email isn’t out there. But yeah, no tool is perfect.
