So, I’ve been wondering—can a proxy be banned in school? Like, I know schools block a ton of sites, but do they actually go after proxies too? I tried using one the other day to get around the firewall, but it didn’t work.
From what I’ve heard, schools use stuff like URL filtering, keyword blocking, and even deep packet inspection to stop proxy sites. They’re pretty sneaky about it lol. But yeah, can a proxy be banned in school? Absolutely. They’ll blacklist the IPs or just block the whole category of proxy sites.
Anyone else had luck getting around it? Or is it just a lost cause? Let me know!
