lol i feel you, the proxy format stuff is a total rabbit hole. i use datacenter proxies for scraping cuz they’re cheap and fast. i don’t care if they’re not as “legit” as residential ones.
if you’re scraping smaller sites, HTTP is fine. but for bigger projects, SOCKS5 is the way to go. i use Proxy-Seller for datacenter proxies, and it’s been working great for me.
also, don’t overthink it. just pick one and test it out. you’ll figure out what works best for your use case.
