tbh, i think you’re overcomplicating the proxy format thing. for scraping, just start with HTTP proxies. they’re easy to set up, and you can always switch to SOCKS5 later if you need more speed.

i use datacenter proxies for most of my scraping cuz they’re cheap and fast. residential proxies are overkill unless you’re scraping something super sensitive.
