Which Proxy Format Works Best for Your Use Case? Let’s Discuss!

Hey! I’ve been using proxies for scraping for years, and here’s my advice:

- Start with HTTP proxies if you’re new. They’re easier to set up and work well for most scraping tasks.
- If you need more speed, switch to SOCKS5. It’s faster and handles more traffic types.
- Residential proxies are better for avoiding bans, but datacenter proxies are faster and cheaper.

I use a mix of both depending on the project. For residential proxies, I recommend NetNut. For datacenter, I’ve had good luck with HighProxies.

And yeah, the whole proxy format thing can be overwhelming at first, but you’ll get the hang of it. Just keep testing and tweaking!
