How to Set Up and Use a Linux Export SOCKS5 Proxy for Secure Browsing?

Hey folks!

So, I’ve been messing around with setting up a linux export socks5 proxy lately, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for secure browsing. If you’re like me and wanna keep your online stuff private without overcomplicating things, this is worth a shot.

Here’s the gist:
1. Install `dante-server` or `ssh` (if you wanna go that route).
2. Configure the linux export socks5 proxy settings—kinda like tweaking a config file.
3. Export the proxy using `export http_proxy=socks5://127.0.0.1:1080` (or whatever port you’re using).

Boom, you’re set! Now just route your browser or app through it, and you’re golden.

Anyone else tried this? I’m still figuring out some quirks, so tips are welcome!

Cheers! 🍻
