Thanks for all the replies, everyone! I decided to give downloadly another shot, and it worked fine for the most part. The speeds were decent, but I did run into a couple of broken links, like some of you mentioned.
I also checked out FileHippo and Softonic based on your suggestions, and they seem pretty solid. I’ll probably switch between them depending on what I need.
One quick question though—has anyone tried using a VPN with downloadly? I’m wondering if it affects the download speeds at all.
