Lol, I remember being confused about this too. To add account to jdownloader, you gotta use your premium login, not the links.
Go to Settings > Account Manager, click "Add," select your hoster, and fill in your username/password. It’s super easy once you get the hang of it.
Most big hosts work fine, but if you’re using something obscure, you might need to check the jdownloader forums for plugins or workarounds.
