Wow, thanks so much for all the suggestions, everyone! I tried out NordVPN first, and it’s been working great so far. Super easy to set up, and it’s not slowing down my Chromebook too much.
I’m still curious about the manual proxy setup, though. Has anyone tried configuring it through the Chromebook network settings? I might give that a shot next.
Also, does anyone know if using a proxy or VPN affects battery life? My Chromebook’s battery isn’t the best, so I’m a bit worried about that.
