I’m kinda paranoid about this stuff, so I always use a combo of proxyip and Tor. It’s overkill for most people, but it works for me.
For testing, I use BrowserLeaks to make sure my proxyip isn’t leaking anything. And yeah, avoid those “too good to be true” free proxyip services. They’re almost always scams.
