Hey everyone! So, I’ve been digging into the whole recaptcha v2 vs v3 debate for my site, and honestly, it’s kinda confusing at first. But here’s my take:
Recaptcha v2 is the one with the "I’m not a robot" checkbox. It’s simple, works fine, but can be annoying for users if they keep getting those image challenges. Like, c’mon, I just wanna log in, not solve a puzzle, lol.
On the other hand, recaptcha v3 is sneaky. It runs in the background, no clicks, no nothing. Sounds great, right? But it’s not perfect either. Sometimes it flags legit users as bots, and you gotta tweak the sensitivity a lot.
Personally, I’d go with v3 if you want a smoother UX, but v2 if you’re okay with a bit more friction for better accuracy. What do y’all think? Anyone had issues with either?
