Yo! Socks4 proxy is like the OG of proxies lol. It’s simple and gets the job done for hiding your IP, but it’s not as fancy as socks5.
It works with TCP traffic, so stuff like HTTP/HTTPS is fine, but it won’t handle UDP (like gaming or VoIP). If you’re just starting out, it’s a good place to learn, but socks5 is def more versatile these days.
