I tried the sock filter for pool last summer, and honestly, it’s a mixed bag. It does catch a lot of the smaller debris, but if you have a ton of leaves, it can get overwhelmed pretty quickly.
I ended up combining it with a pool cover to reduce the amount of junk falling in. That combo worked way better for me. If you’re gonna try it, maybe get a couple of extras so you can swap them out when one gets full.
