Why Use a Proxy if Firewall is Better? Understanding the Key Differences and Use Cases

Wow, thanks everyone for the awesome replies! I didn’t realize how much proxies and firewalls complement each other. I think I’ll try setting up a proxy for accessing geo-blocked content and keep my firewall for security.

Quick question though—anyone have experience with using both at the same time? Like, does it slow down your connection or cause any issues?
